By now, you probably realize that this is a project that we do 2x per year. The one tee on #17 takes a beating because of its size and also the fact that it receives very little sunlight throughout the day. Because of the lack of sun, it has trouble healing from the damage done to the turf. Because of these factors, we re-sod the tee twice each year, once over the winter and then another time, midway through the season. The one tee on #2 used to be the same but last winter's tee reconstruction on #2 allowed us to nearly double the size of that tee. We are now able to spread the wear out, which will allow us to make it through an entire season.
Hap approves this project although he initially instructed us to have the brown side facing up.
