Wilt

If you see the back tee on #16, you may be wondering what happened.  The answer is, it dried out quickly and wilted.  When plant roots can no longer take up water because it is unavailable, the plant shuts down and enters a state of dormancy so it can conserve resources.  Now that water is being applied regularly, the grass will rebound in a week or two.  This past week has been challenging.  It was so wet for so long, then suddenly the rain stopped and the humidity dropped and we experienced a stiff breeze for several days.  That created a situation that was difficult to keep up with for a day or two.  While we did a good staying on top of it, this tee didn't fare as well.  Tomorrow, we will poke some holes in it to stimulate some growth and get this healed in.
