These are some really impressive photos of a salamander that our Spray Tech, Billy Brooks, captured on the 14th hole this morning. The bottom three photos were taken in the greenside bunker. It’s worth noting that Salamanders are a sign of an environmentally healthy ecosystem- something we strive for at Highlands CC. Highlands is known for having the most species of salamanders than any other region in the world. This is a pretty special honor! Also, for your trivial knowledge, Highlands also has more species of molds and mildews than any other region in the world!
