This afternoon, we started the aggressive grooming practices on the putting greens. This machine stands the turf up, and thins the canopy, creating smoother and faster greens. For the next few days, will be doing this practice to the greens which means you'll start to notice a dramatic increase in speed. During the season, it's common for us to lightly topdress afterwards. However, with so much sand very close to the surface, we won't start that until the month of June.
