The pots will be planted this week...getting it in shape for Mother's Day Brunch.
Historically, in Highlands, Mother's Day is considered to be the last chance for a heavy frost. With the forecast temperatures looking well above that, we started some landscaping of perennials and annuals. Rita focused her efforts at the Administration Building and Croquet while John and I spent the day in the courtyard, restoring the garden to Mary Palmer Dargan's original 2010 design. I think the courtyard will be appreciated by most everyone and will continue to be an excellent photo opportunity for those visiting the Clubhouse.
Between the stepping stones is a combination of Blue Mazus and Creeping Jenny.
