I enjoy looking at old photos of the golf course as a reminder of how far we’ve come over the years. This is an old photo of the 13th hole. If you think the cart path is visible now, this is what the hole looked like prior to 2009, before the cart path renovation was completed. The old cart path went right over the large exposed bedrock you see today. It’s hard to believe that beautiful rock outcrop was hidden for so many years! You can even see some of that rock on either side of the cart path within my yellow circle on the photo. The cart path was shifted as far right as we reasonable could at the time. Who knows??? Maybe one day we could make an effort to push that farther right into the woods to get it out of sight.
