Today we started sand topdressing fairways. Incorporating sand on the fairways is a good program to help improve the firmness of the playing surfaces.
On #10, drainage is being installed on the island fairway. This drainage will certainly help, but it won't completely solve the problem of the island being wet after rain events.
With gravel installed on the new cart path next to #15 green, it is easier to see how the area changed.
Golf course maintenance isn't always glamorous work. This past season, we've had some challenges with the sewer line coming out of the Learning Center that required us to replace a 60' section of it.
