Sometimes, manual labor is the fastest and most effective way to do things. My goal was to have all the fairways aerated and cleaned up before Christmas. That’s looking like it will happen. Cleaning up the plugs is time consuming so in addition to running our mechanical sweeper, we are also manually shoveling plugs into carts and trailer after they are blown and pushed into a pile down the center of the fairway.
Speaking of piles of aeration plugs, Hap loves laying right where we are working. It’s about time he grab a shovel and help.
