Another beautiful day in Highlands, despite the 31*F morning.
After a winters worth of using the Clubhouse parking lot as ground zero for our projects, it takes its toll on the asphalt. Today we have an outfit on site repainting the white stripes that define the parking spaces.
Above, while retrieving his ball out of #15 pond, some ducks swam by to see Hap. It's interesting that he has no interest in ducks, only geese. Ducks won't trigger him like geese will and pretty cool he's able to differentiate between the two. There was one point it looked like they were swimming together.
Today, Chad and I marked the golf course for the first time this year. While it is a job that normally doesn't fall under golf course maintenance, it's a job we enjoy doing for both the exercise and the fact that it forces us to view the golf course from a number of different angles. We mark the golf course every other week and then before big tournaments.
