Thursday

 
It's that time of year when fungus becomes very active.  In the rough, you can see the mycelium growing on leaf blades.  Fungal disease management is probably on of the most challenging aspects of being a superintendent in this region due to the amount of rainfall we receive.

 
Yesterday's storm brought down a tree on the 11th hole.  A majority of it will be cleaned up and removed by the time any golfers reach this area.
