Weekly Update

This weeks forecast is calling for a slight chance of some much needed rain.  There is a 40% chance through today and tomorrow, along with another slight chance on Friday and into the weekend.
Temperatures will remain cool, sticking right around the mid 70's during the day, while dropping into the mid to lower 50's at night.

This week on the golf course we are busy in preparation for the Tartan Classic.  This morning we will mow all of our playing surfaces out from the weekend, while this afternoon we will start weed-eating our pond and creek banks.  Currently we have only received 0.46" of rain for the entire month of September.  With only 40" of rain year to date, we are pretty far behind our annual average of 90-100".  With such dry conditions we will have 3-4 crew members hand-watering each afternoon.  This allows us to put water directly where it needs to be rather than running overhead irrigation.  Please continue to check back with us through the week!

Don't Forget: We will be 1/4" aerifying next Tuesday the 29th!!!
