On the way to the Club on Sunday evening, I passed this big guy eating acorns along Hwy 106 just a few hundred yards before the Club.
Acorns are popular food as is trash left outside. Obviously, keep the trash inside until trash day or if needed, don't forget the county has drop off location as well...like the one on Buck Creek Road.
Once a bear finds a meal at your home he will likely be back so be careful not to make it a habit. Otherwise, you may have an issue. For the bears sake, a fed bear is a dead bear. Once a bear relies on human food and stops hunting, his life is on a downward spiral. Wild animals must remain just that...wild animals.
