Am I 100% pleased with the Zoysiagrass on Tees 2,3 and 17? No. Do I think it still is going to be successful? Yes.
This sod came from a truck load at Biltmore Forest GC and the renovation currently taking place there. They have had some real challenges with this sod coming out of dormancy. In fact, they've called in numerous industry experts and professors. The current feeling is that the sod is alive and well, but time is needed for growth to resume. In hindsight, I should have waited to sod these tees once the zoysia was fully out of dormancy. Again, zoysia isn't the ideal grass. I am looking to overseed it with other cool season species. Your patience is appreciated!
