Winter time not only means renovation and capital projects for us, it's a time for us to accomplish our agronomic practices for the year. Between November-March we are heavily aerifying greens, tees, fairways and roughs. This work can keep two employees busy most of the winter. In addition to that, we topdress a playing surfaces including fairways. Paul Dalton and Lee Zoellner stay busy all winter sharpening reels, rebuilding engines, replacing bearings etc in our equipment fleet. These two are the best in the business, second to none. That essentially leaves four of us to accomplish the rest! The additional staff of 10 will join us in late February, bringing the total seasonal staff to approximately 18 employees.
