On the 15th hole, we're making some good progress with the grading of the hillside. In fact, we are thinking of sod possibly next week!

This is the creek behind the green. I am standing on the back left collar of the green looking at the creek that was previously not visible. Picture the snow covered bank in dark green turf.
On #9, all of the drainage repairs in the fairway were made and it was time to use our tractor and boxblade to float the sand across the area to smoth the fairway and fill in the 'bird baths.'
Once the sand was leveled and smoothed, the fairway was rolled three different directions. As you can see below, we used a plate compactor to smooth the sand around the drain basins.
The end result is a great looking surface ready for sod. The sod will be installed on Wednesday.
At the croquet lawn, the original lawn has been filled with soil and compacted and excavation has begun where the court will be expanded. The crew is also removing the walls and footers, which is no easy task.
