Practice Facility Update

 
The contractor began hauling greens mix to the new target greens.  This is a 90% sand/ 10% peat moss mix.  The peat is added as a way to retain moisture and critical at the time of grow in.  Before the root zone mix is installed, the crew is leveling out any foot prints or imperfections in the subgrade of the green.  It's critical to be sure that water cannot be trapped below the surface of the greens.

 
 
Above, the contractor has a GPS outfit collecting data points on the range.  This will be used in mapping the property and also determines the exact square footages of work completed.  This ensures we are billed for the precise scope of work.
 
 
 
Above, you can see the tree that was relocated from the entrance of the range onto the body of it.  An additional 14 trees will also be relocated to the range.
