Last week we were able to get back to some agronomic work on the golf course. Above, you can see the result of verticutting fairways. Once this is cleaned up, we will sand topdress all fairways, using about 300 tons of sand. The weather this winter has been a challenge and not conducive to this type of work. It's either been too wet (or snow covered) or frozen. In fact, it was 10*F this morning in Highlands and we are shut back down again with the ground frozen. All of this type of work is usually finished by Christmas, but this year, it will drag well into February or March.
