Friday

New this year is the addition of hundreds of Tulip bulbs.  Of course, they must be planted in November prior to spring.  We have tilled a few areas and incorporated organic material.  Rita has worked hard on this and the results will be awesome!

Lawns #4 and #5 were aerated this week and wickets moved back to the other lawns.  Rotating lawns like this is advantageous to members and staff in balancing maintenance practices.

Next week, we will be starting on steps to access Donald Ross Road at the croquet court.  The steps will turn 90* midway and lead to the road.

We continue to spend a lot of time watering out of play areas during this severe drought...76 days without rain.

New, larger gauge wire was installed on #18 to illuminate the shelter.
