Greens are being walk mowed as of this morning. The height of cut is currently .130" and will be down to the summer height of .125" starting next week. In addition, double cutting and rolling will start next week. This afternoon, we are verticutting greens a second time and will most likely do this next week as well. By the end of next week, the greens are going to be rolling pretty good, in the neighborhood of 11 feet. We have good roots and healthy turf and it isn't even May 1st! That is a pretty impressive aerification program to do the amount of disruption we do and it essentially goes unnoticed except to those members here in April.
