Thursday's project

Today we are working on a project designed to save money.  We currently wash equipment with town water.  We are running a water line from the irrigation system so we wash turf equipment with water from the lake, which is essentially free.  At the same time, we are running a town water line to the pesticide fill station.  This will give us the option of filling the sprayer with clean water.  Using lake water works but occasionally particulate matter can clog nozzles on the sprayer.  This will save quite a bit of money over time. 

We will continue to keep the blog updated but posting frequency may slow down.  With winter, we are down to our skeleton crew which certainly puts a dent in the amount of work we are able to accomplish.
