I'd like to remind you that the golf course will be closed on Tuesday, September 3rd, following Labor Day.
We will use this time to aerate the greens with small 1/4" tines. The disruption from this practice is minimal and other than seeing some very small open holes, the greens will roll fine the next day.
We will also begin our inner-seeding practice for the year. We will be inner-seeding over 500 lbs of Crystal Bluelinks Creeping Bentgrass into our fairways and approaches. This will take a couple days to complete and like the 1/4" tines on greens, this practice causes very little disruption.
