This morning, workers from RiverSand Dredging (based in of Gainesville GA), are on site doing a sediment survey of Club lake. By doing this, we can accurately determine how many cubic yards of sediment needs to be dredged from Club lake. This will allow us to accurately budget for the project, which is slated to begin next winter. This will be interesting data to see once the survey is finished and mapped. I'll be sure to share this on the blog in the coming weeks. This project will only focus on the portion of the lake behind the LEC, from the Hummingbird Lane bridge back to the tenth hole. It will not include the main portion of the lake.
