Pretty cool picture showing frost up close. If you look closely in the void, you can see a lot of the new seedlings that germinated as a result of September’s fairway inner-seeding program.
Yesterday was our second fish stocking of the year which included approximately 1,500 fish; mostly Brook Trout (as shown above) and Brown Trout.
These next few photos show the prep work taking place on #1, where we’ll be sodding tomorrow on the hillside next to the green. We are all anxious to get this project behind us. Eventually, we’ll be planting additional rhododendron on the bank above the green, beyond where the grass line stops.
What an improvement behind the 8th green! The unsightly gravel road was reshaped and then grassed so the backdrop is now green grass!
On #6, the area on the left side of the hole is now grassed. You can see sprinkler heads running! We primed the irrigation up again today to irrigate all the new sod on the golf course. At this point, we'll more than likely leave it pressured up for the season.
