The sand mix is being removed from the tees on the 2nd hole and will be stockpiled until it is able to be reused. The 1 and 2 tee will be reconstructed much larger.
On #13, we cleaned out a lot of the land below the left side of the green where this area will be reshaped and extended in an effort to collect more errant shots that are hit to the left of the green.
Fairway aeration continues. It's easy to forget how much time these types of agronomic practices take during the off season. Unfortunately it isn't all projects and improvements that we work on over the winter. With an 80% chance of rain in the forecast for Sunday, starting tomorrow, we are putting the entire team on fairway clean up- raking and shoveling aerification plugs.
