#11 Trimming

On the 11th hole, we've continually cut back vegetation to expose the creek on the right side of the hole.  However, those efforts weren't very aggressive and only opened up the view of the creek from on the fairway.  This winter, we are taking it a step farther and stripping the vegetation back about 15 feet on the other side of the creek.  This will make the water feature visible from the tee.  I'm really anxious to see how this turns out and its exciting watching it little by little.  It is quite the project and a lot of work!

Below, the other benefit we get from this kind of work is material to make tee markers for the coming year!  We'll save all the thick rhododendron trunks for tee markers and stakes.
