This week brought over 3" of rain to area and needless to say, the golf course is very wet. It will be cart path only today and pending we get no additional rainfall, we'll open holes back up to cart traffic tomorrow (Saturday). Our focus this morning was getting greens double cut, tees mowed as well as rough on some drier holes. This weekend, we'll be bringing in additional staff in order to get the fairways mowed on Saturday morning. Some of the playing surfaces will look a little "hairy" because we haven't been able to mow on the same schedule this week due to the constant rain. It's very important to me, not to rush the process by putting heavy mowers out on wet fairways. That can cause lasting damage so patience is needed during times like this. At the practice facility, the hitting stations are on the mats but feel free to move directly in front of the mats if you'd like to hit from grass. Thank you for your patience and care for your golf course!
