Every water management system comes equipped with a series of drain valves and isolation valves. The point of these valves are to be able to isolate a small section of sprinkler heads in the event a pipe bursts or a sprinkler head needs serviced. Otherwise, the pumpstation at the lake would need to be turned off, resulting in the loss of water everywhere. We first painted these valve lids with a camo-green spray paint but it unfortunately didn't stick very well. With a dry forecast for the rest of the week, we are taking advantage of it by painting all 18 holes worth of valve box lids as well as the croquet boundaries and the gate at the practice facility. This is just an example of the jobs we take on that extend far beyond maintaining turf. We are never finished nor are we ever satisfied!
