For the last two full days, we held our 1st ever departmental leader retreat in the Jones room of the Clubhouse. Since 2009, I've been a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator facilitator. The day started Tuesday with a 5-hour workshop on the MBTI personality type. The afternoon session gave an opportunity for department heads to talk about the uniqueness of their department so the others can hear another perspective of work at HCC. Wednesday morning was individual presentations by each department head on a variety of assigned topics. Finally. the day ended with a 4-hour Human Resources presentation that also included the Club’s Labor Attorney. It was a successful 2-day event that benefitted all in attendance.
