Our irrigation system has had a rough week with little to no pressure on the front nine and a major irrigation break on the back nine that involved removing 20' of cartpath below #11 tee in order to fix the problem. This will end up being a major costly repair. Right now, we have no access to irrigation water other than a 200 gallon chemical sprayer- it's a scary situation to be in, given the amount of new sod that is out there and the winds and low humidity we are experiencing. The only saving grace is the 90-100% chance of rain Saturday, which we are hoping buys us some extra time to solve these issues. After 35 years of service, this system is in major need of replacement.
