Billy Brooks, a member of my team, caught this 9 lb bass in Club Lake last night. The fish was 24" long and had a girth of 20"! It was caught using a rubber bluegill lure, that can be seen below, hanging out of this Brook Trout's mouth. He caught the Brook Trout a few casts after the bass. It too, was a massive fish. Both were returned to the lake, so someone else can experience catching the same fish.
While touring the campus with Mr. Hohlstein, we came across this Black Snake. It was easily 5 plus feet long! After we spotted it, we naturally threw some rocks at it to see if it was alive. It turns out he was very much alive and went into his strike position.
