Circle Cutting Fairways

As we continue to fine tune the details on the golf course, we spent time this morning circle cutting fairways.  Paul Dalton and Kevin Earp have our fairways mowers cutting perfect as always.  To make them even tighter and finer, we mow them in a circular pattern to get a cut on the turf at multiple angles.  This helps eliminate the grain that can develop from mowing stripes.  I am proud of the condition of your fairways- the difference between today and 2004 is night and day!  That is attributed to the aggressive and proper cultural practices like aerification, verticutting and topdressing.  It is also attributed to a great spray program and fertilization schedule and finally, a top notch equipment maintenance program.
