Above, is the 11th hole at Oakmont CC outside of Pittsburgh, PA, a place I spent 2 years working. I always really liked the bridge that crossed this grass swale in front of the green. I like the look as much as I like the safety of it. We are building something similar on our 15th hole this spring. The new bridge will span the creek but will only be about 3 feet wide in order to keep golf carts off of the bridge.
