Pond on #2 is drained and ready to be dredged, particularly at the far end of the pond closest to the 2nd green.
On #6, we started on 2 drainage improvements to move water off of the fairway.
The picture above shows the old drill and fill holes (1 foot deep/ 3/4" hole) which create nice channels to push water down. We will be doing more drill and fill on several fairways later this winter or early spring. #6 fairway is comprised of very poor quality, compacted soils. Anything we can do to get water to move down as well as create an area for rooting will benefit the quality of turf that grows on the fairway.
