A beaver decided to do some aggressive pruning to several Burning bush shrubs behind the LEC. We are going to trap the animal and relocate it before it eliminates more landscaping. In addition, I have major concerns about where this beaver is taking this stuff to. The dams they construct can be very damaging themselves and difficult to remove. I have yet to see where he started construction but something tells me he doesn't have the required documentation and permitting from the county and town, making such a structure illegal to build. I do admire his or her work ethic and clean pruning cuts but the animal is focused on the wrong area. It's ashamed we can't work together on an area that needs such trimming.
