Staff is cleaning up around the Hudson House and discovered some interesting things in the attic. Above, the Hudson House was once known as "Club 19" and this is the sign that hung above the front door.
This model of Highlands CC was buried in the attic...the whole property is scaled down to fit on a 6' x 6' sheet of foam board. On the model, the 1st hole is 12" long, which in real life is about 1,100'...this makes the scale 1:1,100. I'm really curious what this was used for...perhaps in 1980 when the Club changed hands? It is in great shape and beautifully done. It has been covered in plexiglass which kept it clean after all these years. If you read this and happen to know or remember this, I'd love to hear from you.
This old pool rules sign was also in the attic.
