I was fortunate enough to be gifted a copy of the original Confidential Guide to Golf Courses by Tom Doak. I enjoy reading this series and again, he makes mention of Highlands CC a couple times. You can see the tenth hole is listed as one of Ross' top 18 holes he designed, according to Doak. His Guide on summer retreats is excellent and again, makes mention of HCC many times. This is a special place, indeed!
