Now that the snow is finally gone, we are able to start verticutting fairways. We are about 2 weeks behind where I would like to be due to the 15" snowfall we received on December 8th. It won't take us long to get back on track. Once Jerry finishes the verticutting, we will clean up the debris and material pulled to the surface and then sand topdress fairways. That will finish off the agronomic programs on fairways for the winter. Wednesday, we were hit with 1.25" of rain but the golf course fairways are dry enough to get a start on this. More rain is in the forecast for Saturday.
