Fall Decorations...

For fall decorations, Rita Crawford and I decided to try something new this year!  While we haven't had feedback yet from members, we did have the owner of 'Acorns' (a local high end florist) tell us, "you guys nailed it!"  He saw our work when he came by the Club this afternoon when he was dropping off some arrangements for tonight.  It is fun doing new and creative things; especially seasonal decorations given the fact they are temporary.

If you are looking for pumpkins in the greater Highlands area, we may have acquired them all.  Believe it or not, there are still plenty out there and you can find them at the local nurseries as well as August Produce.  There are a couple small additions and tweaks Rita will make to these next week when additional gourds are delivered.

Before: Paul Dalton, a man of many talents and HCC equipment tech, made these frames using steel rods to hold the pumpkin topiary.  Rita is proudly displaying one of the two frames Paul welded.
