More rain throughout the afternoon and evening (3/4") raised our total to 5" for this week. That's a lot of rain particularly given that it was spaced throughout the week with cloudy conditions. This not only interfered with our schedule, but it makes it essentially impossible to condition the golf course. I'm proud of the staff for doing what we could but it's safe to say the golf course is not where we want it to be for this event. However, this is part of dealing with Mother Nature. It's frustrating but beyond our control.
We will attemp to open many holes to cart traffic. Please use safety and common sense while driving on wet turf. Your patience is extremely appreciated and hopefully we can begin to dry out!
