When exiting the Hudson House parking lot, there is a black/yellow speed hump just before the highway. The purpose is to allow you better sense in how far you can safely inch up to the road for better visibility of Dillard Rd. We get several complaints a year that vegetation is blocking visibility. We've trimmed everything as far back as possible. By inching forward, you can safely see in both directions, with this bump acting as a tire stop. It is offset to the right so those who don't need it aren't forced over the speed hump.
