We are making our first fairway spray application this morning using our new spray. This 300 gallon sprayer holds an additional 100 gallons, making us far more efficient than in the past. There is a computer on this sprayer that calculates the rate of spray. Let's say the operator slows down... the sprayer automatically adjusts the pressure so less chemical is coming out of the nozzles. On the flip side, if the operator speeds up, the pressure automatically increases so the application rate is consistent. That is pretty neat technology that will serve us well at Highlands CC. This application includes fertilizer, 2 fungicides and 2 plant growth regulators.
