You will see (on 7 approach and 3 green) that our fall PoaCure trials are starting. This is being overseen by Clemson University. In our climate, researchers are calling for 3 spring applications, which we did, and 2 fall applications. Two years worth of treatments and we should be Poa annua free. This chemical is hoping to receive EPA registration and labeling sometime in 2017. If this is the case, there is a very good chance our putting greens will be Poa free by 2019. That is pretty exciting. Since 1999, we've fought the good fight, trying to keep Poa annua suppressed and populations to a minimum while a chemical company could develop something like this. We are very close!
