We've had 3" of rain in 2 short days. It will be cart path only today. We are going to continue on with the greens venting plan but will not be mowing greens prior. I am giving them a day off. This is a prime example where very fast green speeds are not attainable day in and day out. If we tried, we would lose grass in the process. With numerous days of cloudy weather and reduced photosynthesis, the greens are not as turgid and vibrant as the otherwise are.
