Shoes

We recently had a slight issue with a few pairs of golf shoes.  On Tuesday morning, the tees were sprayed, just like the are every 21 days. The shoes, made by Ecco, are a very high quality shoe made out of a high quality, soft leather. Unfortunately, the soft leather absorbs whatever it comes in contact with.  On Tuesday, the green dye that is used in spray mixtures to mark the applicators last pass, stained this specific brand of shoes.  Aggressive cleaning did not restore the shoes to their original color. We do have to make plant protectant applications periodically and using green dye is part of a safe and effective application. Before purchasing new golf spikes, be sure to talk to the golf professional staff for the pros and cons of the different models available.
