Thursday

Boulders are being placed in the location of the locust fence in order to raise that side of our existing large court.  It will be safer for Strikers and allow us to expand the court slightly that direction.  It was a perfect time to accomplish this because the turf was removed for laser leveling.

The new court has new Toro infinity sprinkler heads.  The beauty of these, is that you don't have to dig the head up to replace a solenoid or pilot valve.  It can be accessed from the top meaning they are maintenance friendly.

Above, we are repairing a culvert in the rear of the maintenance building that is cavitating due to a rusting culvert.  I am going to repair the worst area and then evaluate  the best course of action to fix the entire run of pipe.  This is the creek on #1 that is piped under the parking lot and, believe it or not, the building maintenance facility (attached to the administration building).

Below, the practice facility is greening up and recent mowings have striped it up nicely.
