All of the croquet court retaining walls were poured today. The forms will be stripped tomorrow and rock work can start in a week. It does take some time for the concrete to cure...3 weeks or so. Now the project will really start getting fun. In total, 8 trucks of concrete were required for the walls today. If you recall, 12 trucks were used for the footers. In total this is 181 cubic yards of concrete. This is 4,860 cubic feet. To put this amount of concrete in perspective, you could pour a 4" slab, 100ft x 150ft with this amount of concrete. On a golf cart path, it would be enough to go just shy of 2,000ft.
