This week's forecast is calling for a large chance of rain today, and possibly tomorrow as well. Wednesday there is a 70% chance of rain, but will hopefully move through and allow the course to dry out. Later in the week temperatures will remain mild in the 50's while dropping into the mid 30's overnight. Other than that, it will remain partly cloudy through Friday and into next week.
This week on the golf course we will continue to chip away on our winter project list. Bunkers continue to be a priority, and we will have a crew all week stripping sod. Due to the rain, we will have to spray the Better Billy Bunker adhesive polymer later in the week. If the gravel layer in the bunker is wet, the spray will not harden properly and cause the material to not perform correctly. Chad will be out topdressing tees and approaches this afternoon, if the weather participates. Please continue to check back for any updates through the week!
