We received just over 1/2 inch of rain yesterday afternoon! This allowed us to focus on some other projects today. Dredging the pond on #6 is underway and will be wrapped up this afternoon. This is one of those projects that has been bothering me for sometime and we finally found the time to do it. Hand watering consumes the labor of a lot of staff members; our well trained staff members at that. Therefore, other projects get pushed to the back burner until time permits.
Dredging this pond is something that need done annually. There is a lot of leaf matter and sediment that accumulates in the pond and it fills up quickly! I would love to get trout back in this pond in the future.
