This week's forecast is calling for a 40-50% chance of rain each day much like last week. Temperatures will continue to stay in the upper 70s potentially reaching 80* while dropping down into the mid 60s at night. Hopefully we will have some sun and a light breeze throughout the day to help dry things on the course back out!
On the golf course this week we will be extremely busy in preparation for the Men's Member Guest tournament. With heavy rains throughout most of last week, we were only able to do as much as possible with our mowing schedule. Monday morning we will be back on track with our monthly circle cut on fairways. As mentioned before mowing in a circular pattern provides multiple benefits in cut quality, however does require more time to mow each fairway. Along with circle cutting, we will be spraying fairways with a fungicide, fertilizer, and growth regulator combination on Tuesday.
