It is going to be great week for us as we are focused on getting the course cleaned up and mowed out after a wet July 4th holiday. By Thursday, this golf course will look as fine as it ever has. Hopefully we avoid the smaller chances of rain through the week so the course plays firm and fast for the Men's Member Guest Tournament (Thurs-Saturday). There is a lot to do but I put this staff up against the finest around and we are ready for that challenge. We will be putting in some long hours and mowing in the evenings as well as mornings. Scheduling the M/G Tournaments the week after our biggest holiday is a major challenge but agian, we are up for it!
The driving range tee got a nice break from mowing and abuse as I try to encourage more seed germination. It was pretty hairy today but benefited from the break.
